Nebo II

For this backyard makeover we were looking to extend the indoor braai room for those sunny days where one would rather be outside. The owners already had pavers with a fire pit set up in the corner of the property so the layout was ideal to work with. We raised the patio to create height and dimension and constructed a custom fire pit that acts as a feature in its own right, soon to be painted or cladded by the owners.

The struggling lawn was removed and we installed various blocks of straight edge paving with crushed stone in between, to avoid a continuous hard surface which could have been too harsh. Planting and wooden trellises came on the right to soften the vibracrete wall and provide a focal point.
